speaker Dyna C1!
even you add power amp is no use with you existing set up.
better buy a nice int. amp or pre+ power 2ch amp. otherwise you will waste the C1.
budget - you need to increase at least 30-50k to push c1!
C1 is very good spekaer, how much you give, how much it speak. if you give 10k, it will speak 10k. if you give 100k, it will speak 100k sound.
otherwise you wil not hear what is real C1 performance.
the main reason i bought C1 is i will use it in AV and 2ch also. But, for now, i wanna deal with the av system first. For the int. amp, i will buy it next year......my dream int. amp is Gryphon Diablo which i have to dream a lot in getting it....!!! The Parasound power amp i wanna add is for av only.....i know it's not musical to use Parasound to backup the C1.....

Actually, i was looking for Contour S1.4 first. I got an audition in micheal's audio which impressed me a lot despite the poor ambient in there. Then, i luckily found a second hand C1 which the price is just fews thousand more than the S1.4, what a no-brainer! I got an audition in that ching house which he poisoned me with vinyl disc......oh my god! How big is the sound from C1....!! The C1 can shake the whole living room effortless in some specific bass tune.....My opinion is if you can find a good condition C1, just grab it without second thought. The new C1 is too expensive right now which is about 4Xk included stand 4. I think the S1.4 is really good enough. If budegt is okay, choose the rosewood finish which is the most beautiful finish i have ever seen among the other speakers. I bought the Contour SC center for around 13.5K in natural colour (to match my maple C1)...In my opinion, the center speaker of Dynaudio is very expensive....the Contour SCX is around 25K...god knows how much is the confidence and evidience center.....!!??
