it should related to how much warm up time is there before watching 3D, its the same as color temp and brightness slightly changing after start up, after all, we are still using a very big and expensive light bulb ! As far as I know its a known phenomenon for JVC X projector, but unit variation and individual perception probably make some difference as well.
