DS 和 DSGT  一部真正 All in one server

來自 New Zealand 的Antipodes  2016 年10 三個產品全新推出. 首先到港的是 DS 和 DSGT  All in one Music Server!

  
兩部Antipodes DS 和DSGT 是真 ALL IN ONE Music Server, Player  !    1. 有齊 Rip CD , 1-8TB 內部 Storage  (可以完全SSD storage(DSGT))  ,  Ultra low jitter USB Card,  同軸輸出,  Analog 輸出 ,    線性穩壓（DSGT) 。一插 amplifer 就可開聲!


1. Auto Rip CD  (DS/DSGT )

DS 和DSGT   完全唔需要用電腦 rip 碟.  放去NAS .... re-index 等N 個工序!   又不用買NAS ...... 不用麻煩，　又不用買NAS 錢!  


2. Music storage ( 1TB ~ 最多 全 8TB SSD　多個版本)  
每部機內部有2 個 Storage bay ..., DS  storage 使用harddisk  ，　最多可以有 4TB storage
而  DSGT ,  使用 FULL SSD storage ,   可以選擇  1-8TB SSD (DSGT) ,  唔需要再買 NAS！low latency 好聲又不同花多錢!  

DSGT

完全線性穩壓。　　［/b]
DSGT 使用Linear Power Supply, DS 使用 Hydrid linear 設計!  　 兩部雖然經濟, 但已經使用 Hybrid LPS （DS)　和 Full Linear Power Supply (DSGT)  ! 而不使用 switching psu.




Antipodes DS DSGT 有齊 USB , Coaxial output 和  Analog 輸出
無論 DS and DSGT ,  都使用 Ultra low jitter USB card ,  再有5V　OFF USB output，　 可以和一些 internal powered USB DAC 工作。　　又可以確保 USB DAC 不用Music Server 供電。　　

另外DS 和DSGT 都有 coaxial (support up to 24/192)  可以直接用 digital output 輸出!　

當然　DS/DSGT有 analog output !  可以直接駁amp ,  唔洗麻煩!

用 Antipodes All in one server, 都係唔想返到屋企再開電腦.  而好多師兄都担心ripping 中文/國內CD 和日本碟功能.    所以我先test ripping ...

本地  Audio CD Ripping 測試:



2016 AV show ripping ....cover art 和 title 都馬上找到.....


跟住要一些國內發行的 AudioCD,  看看可否找到 meta data 和封面.



跟住再試rip日文CD....test test japanee display and cover art searching 功能.   

都完全不用改!  比我以前用 iTunes Gracenote 好.... 找到所有 Hong Kong CD 的 meta data 和 Cover art!

- cannot rip sacd la!  Only jailbreak blu ray player can do!  can play dsd64x,  128x , 256x dsd files!
- Antipodes DS is around HKD12,xxx (包 storage ,  DAC analog out (紅白輸出)  and coaxial output, Hybrid LPS already).

Antipodes DS got diff function from Innuos Zen Mini ,  DS and DSGT got coaxial output and DAC inside.... 方便ching 連DAC 都唔想買!  又唔想攪 電腦 和NAS 的師兄!

Antipodes DS and DSGT 支援 Android Tablet
Antipodes DS 及DSGT 支援 RoonServer ,   Remote Control  可以用 iPAD,  可以用Android 及 Windows Surface tablet 來control!  不只可以用iOS !

DS / DSGT  支援Roon ,  可以成為 RoonReady device or RoonServer ...

DS / DSGT 也可以 支援HQPlayer ,  可以成為 HQPlayer  NAA mode Client device also!

Hi Rockstar,  

Antipodes DS 和 DSGT 的 DAC 無提及用什麼晶片呢!   直出amplifier OK ar!  coaxial 出也好實正. bass is rich.  

上星期個師兄本來上來聽 小白羊 ,  之後都係出左  DS ,  因為夠佢existing need ,已經有CD ripping,   而又可以之後 upgrade 上 external DAC ....  ,   唔洗要多部電腦 ripping , 再copy歌 etc....   

DS 和 Zen Mini usb output 唔比對上的 Network Player 差 ( we tested zen mini most of them with ching in last month 分享會).   但已經有 music storage ，唔需要買NAS with HD and audiophile network switch .

2. Hydrid linear vs Linear Power Supply?
Any others?

You are always welcome!! Here is the different between

1.  DS is using SSD for OS and HD for storage,  and DSGT is using FULL SSD.
2. DS is using Hybrid linear PSU and DSGT is using full linear power supply
3.  DSGT got more memory also ,  better for large files playback and faster in response time.

DS and DSGT got little different .  mainly on the storage and LPS.  functions are the same !   

DS with SSD for OS and HD for music library.  DSGT is full SSD system with Linear PSU.  DS is a hybrid one.

能夠有 8Tb internal storage 非常好!   
今時今日啲 high rez pcm & dsd files 是超大的呢。

NAS 存 music files 是 OK 的，但 internal storage in server 一定更靚聲!
