I have a question: After serious setting,Native files decoding is always the best in my system.Why does Daphile offer resampling?

I never touch those over/down sampling things. Just play in the native way...
I think the downsampling is for people without enough hardware capability to play some hi-res/dsd file.
For oversampling, I have no idea what is it for.
Just like the cd ripping, I don't use, may be someone will use

Tried cd ripping, very slow like EAC, I prefer DB powe to rip cd

I still don't know how to delete the files from share folder, although I have already set the share as R/W mode. I cannot find any delete button on the panel.

The daphile released in Sep 2013 should support Mytek 192.

The delete feature is done over the network, not thru the admin page.
After enabled R/W mode, go to your Windows 7 / 8 file manager, connect to \\daphile, you will see the share folder. Go inside that share folder and select file that you want to delete, just same as you do with other network share folders.

Me too.

但fanless 係首要必攪, 唔攪會衰聲至少50%
同意另外50%既improvement 就要搵隻至少 18-19V Max 3A 或以上既線性火牛 (或switching 都可, 如果做到ultra low noise) 才可完全解決, 否則攪極都係屎聲.

P.S. 臨時解決方法可以unplug 把風扇, 只要唔郁 graphic core 勉強都頂得住, 不過風險自負.....

Ching, 我是用USB flash memory,我相信 正如你講, 可能CPU 的resources 用多了吧

用 network streaming 較正路
或者直接用內部 SSD 放歌落去
usb storage, 免得過唔好用, 無論係 passive (2.5 no power require) 或 active (3.5 with psu) 都會攪到D聲....

obee兄, 有沒有發覺, 其實ARM這類機仔行realtime kernel, 佢的聲音圓潤些, Daphile的聲音沒有咁圓潤!
但講動態就PC真係大不少! 同埋講聲音力水, PC大cubieboard2很多!

師兄見解同我相同, 真係令人興奮
所以我現在會用兩台機做播放. 一台是 Squeezebox Duet, 只播 44.1 PCM. 另一台 Daphile 大機播 DSD, Hi-Res 和"大棚野".

如果聽女聲, cubieboard2+realtime kernel真係比Daphile好聽好多!
師兄用的realtime kernel是甚麼版本?
小弟用的版本是3.4.75

我亦和師兄一樣拿出已棄的 squeezebox duet 來播 pcm,因 daphile 重播 pcm 及 flac 不及 dsd 和 hi-res 般出色。
