Person of Interest - it started as a crime fighting series but then twisted to a sci-fi one with 2 artificial intelligence competing with each other.

The Expanse - Season 1 sucks, but Season 2 is good and shows great potential.  My suggestion is to skip the whole Season 1 (there is a short recap at the start of Season 2).  This is a serious sci-fi series, people are comparing it with Battlestar Galactica.  I will update after finish watching Season 3.

Avengers: Infinity War - it is great, but you don't need me to tell you.

Pacific Rim Uprising - I don't really like the first one, only watched this to kill time.  It, especially the story, is even worst than the first one .

Beirut - currently on in Hong Kong, with critics comparing it with Bourne movies.  Don't be fooled, it is nothing like any good spy movie, I almost feel asleep in the middle of it.

A quiet place - it is about the invasion of earth by aliens.  Don't understand why people scores it so high.  I think it is only so-so, if not a waste of time.

Westworld - the 2 seasons of episodes are very good (except for the Japanese episode which is a bit boring).  In my opinion, this series is a true sequel of Blade Runner.

Tomb Raider 2018 - bad, poor plot, unreasonable story.  I almost give it up before finishing it.

Murder on the Orient Express - got to read the book, watch the previous version of movie and then this one.  Honestly, forgetting about all previous experience and watching it as an individual movie, this is not bad.

Red Sparrow - it is a high quality spy movie - rarely seen in recent years.  The story is well structure and good!

Counterpart - it is about the spy war between two worlds in parallel universe.  By the way, there is no sci-fi nor any hi-tech gears in this tv series except the "parallel universe" worlds.  On the other hand, the spy war part is quite good.

明月幾時有 has just been awarded the best HK movie.  It is so bad that I could not finish half of it.  If it is the best, then the rest of HK movies this year are all rubbishes .

By the way, is there any better movie last year.  

Or, if anyone thinks 明月幾時有 is good?

Get Out - white people abduct black people by hipnotising them and doing some brain operation, not interesting at the first of the contents brief but the movie comes out great, worth every minute of my time watching it.
