- Support for GUID partition tables (migration to GRUB2). This is required in
  order to support >2TB drives that Daphile currently does not support.

- DRM/KMS graphics drivers are now disabled by default. The enabling must be
  confirmed after "Save & Restart" in order to verify that system operates
  properly. It's recommended that you enable them only if you need them for
  HDMI audio or they solve some other problem.
- Web UI Audio Player view improvements (not supported in touch devices),
  eg. resize playlist panel and drag & drop reordering of playlist.
- Kernel upgrade to the latest stable version 3.15.6
- ALSA buffer time (320ms->100ms) and period count (6->3) defaults changed
  again for better generic compatibility
- Some package updates, other minor changes and bug fixes

Just walk around PC shop found the Liva Min PC can't install window 8 .
Is it this min PC also can't install Daphile or Voyage box ?

想問問 Lau Sir, 其實 Daphile 是否只需要用 sda1 那個 1GB 來運作的? 如何可以移除 sda2 那個 DaphileData 的 partition? 是否需要用其他 Linux boot 後來移除?

因為想用回 sda2 的空間來安裝 win8 做 dual boot...

嗯嗯, 在隔離台找到有用的資料, 借分享給想做 Dual Boot 的朋友:

1. Install Windows 7 as usual, one partition on one disk
2. Use tool to resize the partition. Make two new partition, DaphileBoot and DaphileData.
3. I use http://www.sysresccd.org/SystemRescueCd_Homepage
4. Write daphile to USB, boot from USB
5. In daphile (USB boot), you can install daphile to hard disk, it will find the DaphileBoot to install and mark DaphileData as music share drive.
6. Reboot and it will go to Windows 7
7. Download and install the EasyBCD
8. Open EasyBCD, press "Add New Entry"
9. Select "Linux", GRUB 1, Name "Daphile", partition select partition 2 / 3 (depends how you label the partition in step 2)
10. Save and reboot, you should see a new item called "Daphile" in the Windows boot menu.

Tried the pre-release version few days ago. The SQ is not as good as the previous public release in Aug. Quite disappointed with it... Dunno if this latest release has the same problem or not...

我仲未試呢個RAMDISK,都想知點玩. 現在玩HIFI的時間不多, 好多野想做但做不到. 因為沒有時間.

因唔想浪費空間, DaphileBoot and DaphileData 2個 new partition要介幾大??

The default size for DaphileBoot  同 DaphileData partition 都係 1GB

DaphileBoot 我用了 2gb, data 就沒所謂，因為最後是 NFS mount NAS 使用的

會自動建立的，用戶自行操作C&P就可以了，REBOOT後會清空RAMDISK。

今日聽真的，ram play的聲軽松好多，音乐感多的，值得用。我已经用ssd 但ram play更好。

有 Pre-release 試，

" Pre-release is now updated to the kernel version 3.19.0-rc7. There is also an update for the Mytek DAC USB2 driver to support the latest DAC firmware version (1.8.1). And of course some bug fixes.

Finally got it working on my old Lenovo PC, with my QNAP NAS.

Unable to have a AB comparison, feels like it is better than my MPD set up in the Ubuntu environment, in most aspects.
