又平又正的 CAS (MPD on Linux) - 2013-05-02

Putty 已經 set 左 UTF-8, 日文字可以正常顯示, 但係出唔到中文,
而且係 mpad apps 入面直頭冇 show 任 ...

我無你呢個問題, 估計以下可能性, 你要自己CHECK CHECK:
1. load 左日本人Mr. Yo個 image 後你無行後續的command
2. 你的 file share 的設定有錯, 沒有用 UTF-8

"1" 的可能性較高, 因為你話出到日文字. 如果你只出到日文字出唔到中文, 好大可能你唔係用緊UTF-8只係用緊日文locale.

解決左了, 原來 share 問題, 之前用 cifs , 而家轉左用 nfs 後, 可以正常顯示中文了, 多謝 ching 提醒!

今日整好左兩個 image 俾 Cubox 用：
1. 基於日本人 Mr. Yo 2012-12-22 的 image, 改了：

• Read only root file system
• Auto mount USB 手指
  

2. 基於日本人 Mr. Yo 2013-03-03 的 image, 改了：

• Read only root file system
• Auto mount USB 手指
• Mytek driver support

小小個人經驗分享, 希望幫到有需要既師兄,

小弟用 Cubox 去 DAC 後, 個 output 好大, 以至部 amp 既 volume 開 8 點位已經好夠聲, 但夜晚聽歌時就比較麻煩, 同埋小弟感覺上部 amp 開到 9點位打後會比較有力, 所以之前 enable 左部 DAC 既 preamp 功能去壓返細個 output, 但始終經過 2 個 preamp 後失真會比較大.

最後唯有係 MPD 個 software 度著手,
只要係 /etc/mpd.conf 度加句

mixer_type        "software"


之後 restart mpd service

就可以用 apps 入面既 software volume control, 但或多或少會有失真, 但取捨之下, 唯有咁做

I'm using SOtM DDC and experience similar problem as you. Everything seems working, my DDC and DAC showed the correct freq but just no sound out from the speaker. So do you have any idea of the underlying cause? How can you fix it? so headache of mpd!

Try to disable the mixer in the configure file. Can you post the log for reference?

yes, mixer probably makes problem. Some dac supports, some doesn't.
u can also run this command (see pm, as it is for sotm only) and see if it could fix (after disabling mixer in mpd.conf)
and tail the mpd.log while you press the "play button" on ipad, it should give u some hint

1. Audiolab MDAC(PCM only) ---- 大細聲正常，但每隔20-30秒有輕微炮仗聲
2. eXD USB-SPIF/I2S converter ----- 大細聲正常，但PCM每隔20-30秒有輕微炮仗聲，DSD 每隔15-20秒有跳線情況

請問有無建議?
