想請教一下大家，現在買部新的Fanless PC 只做CAS Daphile OS 和 potplayer，CPU 應該選i7？i5？定 i3就足 ...

只係講「夠」，ATOM 四核都夠；講「好」就冇譜啦！

咁即是用i7暫時可選擇的中最好啦！ 對嘛？
亦即是說CPU的效能也是與CAS好聲成正比啦，威馬哥？

不過實在聽黑膠才是我至愛！ 不過有好多音樂沒有出LP，唯有.............

Hi eggberg hing,

前兩年試過 Pentium , i5 or i7 在同一塊mobo 上(Streamcom FC8 fanless chassis),  AB test....
i5 好i3 和pentium 好多.  靜好多.....micro detail 也多d.  
i7也比i5好.... 靜和micro detail 差不多.....最大分別係個music flow..... i7 transition smooth d.

多謝 CHing 資料，試下身先

When power up Daphile, it may not recognize your NAS correctly if NAS set at DHCP mode, wait until NAS is connected to Daphile,  and check NAS receives IP address from Daphile, then re-boot Daphile again. The problem is, Daphile can only be  as hotspot after booted up, then it gives NAS an IP address, but Daphile LMS cannot see NAS music file after it booted up, so an immediate re-boot is needed.

Or you may set a fixed IP address for NAS, this should bypass the problem.

I am using a Musette DAC and tried Daphile recently.  It recognised the DAC's hiFace interface but could not communicate with it.  The DAC went back to standby after the Daphile boot up.  Re-installed the Daphile with same result.  Any C-Hing has experience on what went wrong?

Solved!  At the Mixer control, check both iAP interfaces check boxes and it works.  Not sure what it is, am comparing the sound from CDP and CD rip files.

我想請問, ramplay 如何用?
1. 是否只可在它的 web interface 中按右下角個 icon?
2. 是否要每次開個playlist都要按一次才可?

因為找不到一個位去設定, 只有playlist 右下角果個按鈕.

我用 USB 手指安裝 Daphile 插入一部無 HHD 既 NUC 黎 play NAS 褢面既歌。
有時食飯既時候我會暫停佢黎睇電視，所以部 NAS 一段時間後會休眠。之後我再 play 歌就即刻有聲繼續播，部 NAS 一段時間後才閃動。
其實有無可能已經行緊 Ram Play 呢？

我理解係佢本身有 buffer, 你個情況多數係播緊 buffer.
至於 ramplay, 這兩天問了 Kimmo 同 Siuping 兄, 基本上都清楚晒, 佢兩個都唔覺得 ramplay 係有需要, 至於係有無分別同對音質上有無好些, 因為我未試我唔知道. 但如果佢兩個都唔用ramplay的話, 我估用 ramplay 唔會係好重要.
