Sold those 2 pairs..of goldmund la.., too nice for my taste..haha

using cello performance II and a pair of Viola..but the pair of Viola shall be taken away tomorrow..haha

amount of details..control of speaker 2500 is better..  u really get more information from 2500..haha

Tonal balance - 2500 is a more refined at hi Volume listening

For me...performance II still the best amp under 100K ..(for anyone..who does not demand rich /warm sound...), it drive and match to all 3 ways speaker (without 15" bass) very very effectively , it is a keeper for anyone who always have different speakers , it will not be bad at all for 3 ways speaker (again..without 15" bass)

I like performance Moire..part of the reasons..is of coz it is a lot cheaper, and i never enjoy something which is too fancy..

if i need a more powerful amp than performance II let's say..above 400watts at 8ohm ..i go for others...but not 2500

for your room sizes , and speakers with 10" woofers...29m..is very capable..

as i said..performance II matched so well to all 3 ways speakers with 12" bass..or lower.. and very importance thing about why performance II is so good...because it is so easy to matched with 99% of pre amp..., no matter it is valve or SS..or passive..haha... it is of coz not very good sounding amp by today standard, and it is old.. but it is best for someone who always have different speaker and preamp..
