Hi Hi,


HQPlayer got different version ,  HQPlayer Desktop got Windows /MacOS version  , just like a MS Office app,  you can set upsampling filter in the Windows UI


for Linux ,  it got a HQPlayer embedded server version,   it is a service package and you can install in Debian linux , but NO Desktop interface .  you need to fine tune in its Web interface.


most of the streamer say it support HQPlayer , DOES NOT mean it got Desktop or Server version,  it means it got HQPlayer Adapter installed (Receiver) ,  like ROON Bridge or ROONReady device .    you MUST have a HQplayer Desktop or embedded Server in another machine for doing DSP processing.    after upsampling ,  send the final product (DSD256, 512 orPCM384 signal stream  ) to the HQPlayer NAA adapter machine.  

HQPlayer NAA will relay the signal to the DAC.

我有部三叔舊Notebook成十年，行Win10，不知道HD同RAM夠唔夠用。HQ Player玩到DSD512，我部SACD機最高支援到DSD256，即使用Roon只食到DSD256，真係俾佢吹脹。🐭🤥

好彩有個後備DC 19V獨立電俾部Notebook。🐭😅

師兄午安！根據上述 HQPlayer 5 Desktop for Windows 的系統要求，電腦 CPU 應該需要支持 AVX2 指令集 (Advanced Vector Extensions 2 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions)。然而您的 Samsung 手提電腦 CPU 是 Intel Celeron [3865U]，似乎並不支持 AVX2，或許難以執行 HQPlayer 5 Desktop for Windows，加上據悉 HQPlayer 5 對於電腦 CPU 的要求頗高，以便快速地運算歌曲的 Upsampling 升頻播放。

我用緊AMD Ryzen5600G/16g ram，用HQPlayer 玩DSD升上256都窒，升128無事，播wav / flac 升176唔會窒。

在Hiendy抽到Ben Sir的 USB 2.0 isolator/1kW，用JPlay播 MQA file經Isolator去解碼，都窒，唔經Isolator直入解碼唔窒。



HQPlayer 玩升頻，CPU真係要高階一些，最少都要 Intel i7 / AMD Ryzen7。安裝Win11 pro精簡版，唔食很多ram。我用Win11 pro精簡版開機後，Win+其他軟件，都只是食唔到4.5gram。

HQPlayer對系統要求相當高，尤其升頻DSD512，升級電腦要唸粒U同RAM夠唔夠，預大D比較穩陣，如果用MAC Book Air 或PRO M5相信應該得，我上網check M5晶片應該支援到AVX2，一係Intel i7行Win 11 Pro，最少16GB RAM起步。即使升級上述電腦，另一個問題部SACD機食唔到DSD512，玩HQPlayer又要重新洗牌。🐭😑

電腦嘅嘢，我識條鐵咩。如果要玩，俾錢叫人同我攪掂佢，唔好煩我。🐭😂

AMD 5900x （benchmark 39000）比起我的 AMD 5600G（benchmark 20000），相差一倍。我意思是粒5600G升256能力不夠
