我都係有些老死先做爛頭蟀試完，拿給我ab比較，才決定買！我最近賣了對802d2，換對土炮野。新野八萬幾人仔，好多人話我傻仔，但我對耳無囉！音響唔係拿來show牌子比人看，是拿來＊＊＊自己＊＊＊的耳仔聽的。但有時分享出來，郤被人誤會係槍手。老實講，唔介意你來我處聽囉！

From the message sent by Grover-Huffman above, it seems that the Empress cable is now managed by Michael Wolff. There is a new line for Grover-Huffman production which is the Ultimate Reference. Any brother has tried this cable? Please give your comments. Thanks

I have been using Grovers UR cables for the past week in my system. It replaced my Empress cables. The first couple of days had me shaking my head. It was bright, metalic sounding, harsh even. Bass was weak, though the mid-range was decent. After two days of this I put the Empress back in and the musicality came back to the music. Not willing to give up on the UR I put them back in and let them burn in for 48 hours more without listening. The next time I fired up the system, WOW, the bright, metalic sounding top end was much smoother and I was hearing detail like I'd never experienced before; mids were much improved and the bass was back with a vengence. I've tried almost every iteration of Grover's SR line, and though this baby is a terror fresh out of the box, give it a week, and you'll be amazed. Now, in comparison to the Empress, what we have are different flavors. The Empress has a sound that is very musical, it has just the right amount of detail and clarity, a very balanced presentation overall. The UR is turbo charged, still musical, but leaning towards a more exquisitely detailed and raw nature. Of course this could change with more break-in time. I have a feeling though that these two products will give you specific flavors and strengths, it'll be a question of do you like chocolate or mocha almond fudge best; both great tastes, one will suit you more than the other; your system will determine what's right for you.

師兄! 我上佢forum睇返! 你個message好似係舊聞黎㗎! Ultimate Reference係2005年産品. 現在已停產啦! 我上個月同Grover買, 都冇話有更高級型號喎！

KS是大廠，取向都唔同 KS是真正音響國際的品牌，賺錢多有代理
如果你是求平的，唔介意有質素的DIY ，試試Grover Huffman

Kubala Sosna 的對比應是其他音響品牌如Audioquest ,taralab   ,SR ,蛇王……
GH是一個有心人手作仔姐，不過聲音幾特別幾抵玩

香港精明人mode： (玩線一定買有二手價值，能賣返出去的大路選擇，即隨時都可以放返錢升級，所以來來去去其實都應只玩個幾個大路選擇)

Grover said Michael Wolff would continue the EMPRESS line without him. That means EMPRESS is still being in production without the joint adventure of Grove. I think the Ultimate Reference is Grover's new product after the break-up with Michael Wollf.

謝謝師兄指教。我條問題問得唔好，其實我想問嘅喺音色方面的差異。因我只用同試過三两隻牌子嘅線。對音色嘅形容詞，至今都把握唔到。其中試過條ks，印象深刻，因此想用ks 作比較。 所以想求教版主或其他師兄的经驗，睇下可否大约形容下個差異喺邊到。

Having replied by Grover Huffman, it is confirmed that the Ultimate Reference was the obsolete poduct and is replaced by Empress which is now the top model in Grover's production. And, the materials for making the Empress are copper, silver and aluminum. I would like to attach his repliesbelow for your reference. Thanks

Hi Larry, the Empress is a very complicated cable made with Teflon, custom ribbons of copper, silver, aluminum in air. Coated with carbon, nickel, tungsten, and using state of the art proprietary secret technologies. Best Grover

Hi Larry, the Ultimate Reference is an older design dating from a decade ago. That's why there's no mention of it on my website. The Empress is my state of the art cable, it is vastly better than my older design. Best Grover
