The VPI JMW 3D Tonearm is a one-piece structure, from its head shell to its counterweight stub. The 3D Tonearm is manufactured from an epoxy-plastic that is incredibly lightweight, rigid, self-damped and has an effective mass of 10 grams.

True. Thought it's fun, DIY a turntable in Hong Kong is no easy. This is my project

Video on YouTube. It was taken during development stage where the tonearm mount is made of aluminum, now changed to carbon fibre.

I plan to CNC a 70mm thick weighted 30 lbs copper outer skirt for the carbon fibre platter

Anytime! Did you built it from scratch from tt to tonearm yourself? Congrats! Did you use any left-over of any old tt part and turn them into this beautiful DIY tt?

It's all built from scratch. Here is the TT's CNC bearing and pulley made of copper

The base is made of sandwich carbon fibre plate
