Would you let me know what is rt kernel and how to do it ??

real time (RT) kernel is a sub-version of the mainstream kernel. Since it is not the best for general user so it is not put in mainstream.
If you want to use RT kernel, you no need uninstall everything, you need to get the kernel source, patch it with real time patch, compile and install.
For detail, I suggest you Google.

It's not an easy task for most people (including me), that's why I use Daphile. It's always better that someone does something for you than you do it yourself if he does the thing right.

I use Hiface EVO,did Daphile can support it or same as Pi need to mount the USB driver ?

You can boot up your PC/old notebook with usb flash memory to try Daphile to see it can support Hiface EVO or not, I am more than a happy user.

Have you compared the difference between squeezelite and squeezeplay?
I prefer squeezelite more because it performs perfectly when playing DSD.

暫時係無.
我諗有都唔好用, 因為Daphile 係 squeezebox server + player. Server 要求幾高的 CPU power, 我覺得最基本行到 Atom 先有理想嘅反應, 用 Pi 行會好慢, 慢到你唔想用.

It is quite slow even when using Duo Core notebook (Dell 2008 model)!!

最初以為玩 CAS很容易，以PC的JRiver 可對應DSD file，總覺不是味兒，看見更師兄以 MPD Voyage 來作 CAS，方便好聲便膽粗粗一試，因對電腦認知不深尤以Linux 系統，急請教師兄 Obee，他很細心析問題所在，更介紹這個 Linux music player，易學易用能在 ipad 及手機操控。在裝置拿來古老 Celeron 1.6 Ghz notbook 試裝，其中過程十分簡單只在network storage 有問題，但都得師兄指導一一解決。開心了！能全對應現今的高清檔案，但反應及音質只能在接受與 CD 仍有一段距離。在行 Squeezeplay 時有時不能出聲，要行 Squeezelite 才可順利完成，即這個軟件對 CPU及系統有要求，在師兄誠讓下以 atom PC 行 Daphile MPD，明顯地有重大改善木耳的我亦能分辨，操作上亦十分暢順快捷。在此多謝師兄 Obee 無私的幫助。現在真的輕鬆地享受音欒！

Ching, 我是跟隨obee兄的推介玩Daphie, 但因為不太懂setup NFS, 到今天才成功streaming from NAS, Ching 應當多加注意LPS 供電,越是好的power supply, 對聲音的影響有很大的提升。我亦是用 Intel atom CPU motherboard, streaming 24/192 wav 原全冇問題， 但用Raspberry Pi 時就有雜音，Daphile ， 我認為是一個非常好聲易用的CAS Player

多謝師兄意見，在多方面比較中，在 hi-re 檔確實有較想效果，但在44.1 檔則未達 cdp 質素，希望电源加強後有進步。由 nas streaming 又再被削弱，反而 usb hd 直播會好聲些小！

CHANGES on March 26th 2014

• Faster kexec reboot disabled by default. It does not fully initialize the hardware and this is known to cause some very strange problems.
• Drive partition table erase tool in initial settings at console (USB-boot)
• Configurable sample rate change and DoP-PCM mode switch delay parameters for Squeezelite player
• Credits at Info tab to show license information of included packages
• Some new configurable options for CD ripping

Atom 2800底扳上加了16G  mSata, 在Daphile 亦看到，但想install Daphile OS 入 mSata, 但個 16G mSata 已masked, 唔可以選擇，咁点可以install 呢？

你先把這16G SSD的所有partition都clear. 可以用另一個 linux boot 起, 再行:
1. 找出它的代號:  fdisk -l
2. 入 fdisk: fdisk /dev/sda   (If the disk ID is sda)
3. 清左所有現有的 partition 并離開 'o', 'wq'
4. poweroff, 用 Daphile USB 重開, 再入 Settings -> Firmware 看看, 它便不會"灰"左.

在storage, map 了NAS 2個 music folder, default 的share music folder, 同自己create 的 muiscHD, 但scan 時只見share music folder, 在control panel music folder 亦只見一個，但在Album 裹，所有music, muiscHD 都見到，似乎同LMS server 有不同之，你可有這現象。

Atom + Daphile 暢顺，雖然不是即時反應，但低温，稳定，打算遲下試下用Intel NCU i3, 希望更好的音質，但個LPS 需求亦高，目前這個CAS 方案非常方便，高音質，。

Latest download from Daphile on March 31th 2014

Linux kernel series 3.12 with realtime patch is still having some issues and that's why the kernel is reverted to latest stable RT patched version in the 3.10 series (please contact if this causes problems on your setup).
Some other minor bug fixes and changes
