Nagra PLL preamp's sonic preformance can be much improved by using:
- silver ground box connected to preamp's ground post;
- better isolation feet 腳釘;
- tube rolling such as NOS tubes; and
- a better 12V DC external power supply unit.
It can be deduced that the newly launched preamp can be further improved to a higher level by tweaking. Just my 2 cents.
But prices of new models of Nagra equipment have reached "sky high" prices these days
Such high prices are no longer affordable for most people! What a pity! In the good old days, PLL and PLP preamps only cost under HK$60K and HK$75K respectively.
