Well I just want to thank Oryaa, my system has never sounded this good. Digital surpassing vinyl. Loaded 173 and it's the best sound I have heard from my system. The backgrounds are darker and silent, you can hear deeper into the depths of a larger deeper soundstage. small details that I haven't heard before are filling in parts of the music. There is a smoothness and expanse to the sound, it makes one not want to stop listening to music. I want to jump to more and more tracks to discover what differences I can hear but at the same time don't want stop the current track until it has finished. Fantastic. I will have to send through a gift of thx. Thank you. 171 is gold!!!

For everyone who is interested: try Win Server 2025 (Build 26085 is the recent one) as OS especially when you're running newer hardware. Out of the Box SQ has improved compared to the prior versions and I guess with some tweaking by hand ( many services and dependencies have changed, also the kernel, cache handling etc. ) you can squeez out some more. 170/171 is outstanding, btw. Agreed wholeheartedly. Beethoven’s symphony 6, with George Szell conducting Cleveland orchestra, sounds so smooth yet dynamic that my body is glued to the listening couch for hours easily. I don’t mind missing most digital glares. Some of us with more resolving gear might notice a lack of or want more bites on top frequencies; I don’t.
Also, let’s not forget HungryBear’s sweet TC3.1, without which I would be unable to experience OryA’s wonderful software, and Bernie’s excellent Guide to Optimize PC, whose tip on page 19 re: SvcHostSplitThresholdlnKB alone helps reduce Windows processes on my PCs by 20% to 24%. I really appreciate your selfish-less contributions, guys. |
