在Hifi show 聽了4套系統

昨天去了HiFi show。已分享了我第一次聽耳筒和耳擴的經驗。現在分享下兩聲道。Show 在 HiFi店內舉行。 星期六和日，由10am至5pm。我第一天 10am 去，很少人。另外有2間房用較平器材，我沒有入去聽。因趕住走，要去另外一個 show 聽勁嘢。

未去前我抱住好大期望，結果係失望而回。只有一套我認為是靚聲的。錯不在器材，器材無罪。失敗的原因是個别品牌派來的代表。品牌代表負責介紹器材、選歌和播唱。

第一套聽 Naim Statement 前後級、旗艦級播放器和 Focal Stella Utopia。

第二套Mcintosh 播放器、前級、MC601 mono 後級。 Ktema 和 Transparent Magnum Opus 喇叭線。

第三套 Classe Audio 最新款前後級和 B&W 802D3。

第四套全Bryston active 電子分音系統。DAC、前級、電子分音、4台後級(4B、2部7B和14B)和喇叭。還有 Bryston Bit 電源處理器。全部 Audioquest 接線。Bryston 在二、三十年前已生產10B 電子分音。

全部房間根據 Vicoustics 建議的安裝方法。前後左右和天花大面積用上 Vicoustics。3間房大約160尺。Mcintosh 房間大約250尺。

衰聲原因係品牌代表把音量調到超大聲。 Classe Audio 甚至有一首歌調到接近最大 volume。還沾沾自喜話後級仲有大把在手。

雖然是做了房間處理，但係始終有一個極限。用了大型喇叭和大watt 數擴音機，在細空間開到咁大聲。低音真係好唔掂。Focal 低音重咗D，冇乜線條。其餘2間 boom 到，真係惨不忍睹。

我入Mcintosh 房間時，負責人説意大利喇叭正在播着意大利音樂。是輕鬆的人聲和樂器。只有3個人在房間。他問我要聽什麼歌。我表示繼續聽可以了。輕輕鬆鬆正常音量聽下歌已經很好。 我見到後級的功率錶一路維持在中間。好奇下行到後級前面睇下幾多watt, 原來只是6watt。

以前有另一間音響店年年在店內攪 HiFi show, 有11間房。我真係好唔明大部份品牌代表鐘意開到超大聲。嚇下非發燒友就可以，有少少要求的人都頂佢唔順啦。

naim個代理認真唔掂，聽咁多次hifi show，未聽過佢好聲。老麥都有得揮，推自己品牌喇叭，更是難得嘅衰聲，得個吵字。

呢個行業，真正識得聽音樂者，又有幾多個?

Naim 個代表是從 Scotland 飛過來加拿大。是 Naim 的員工，不是代理。

Mcintosh 功放有人喜歡、有人不喜歡。他們的喇叭就真係……

其實，以佢地D經驗，

set套靚Hi Fi有幾難呢，

我都唔知点解？

其實開正常音量，應該唔會太差。唔明白硬係要開到好大聲。

set好個場開到聲已合格
我懷疑有無座過或搵過皇帝位，用心聽過

因我見有時有些員工有一種叫出trip心態，好明顯，唔會以用家角度睇野唸野

當然純我個人亂吹

去hifi show都只睇吓有乜新野玩，聽的真是間中只有一兩間房比較好d，那些天價器才房都只是音效平平。

可能佢地覺得開大聲就等於靚聲.

無可否認，開大聲去測試/評測器材較易反映器材能耐，明白到佢哋有向髙難度挑戰決心…但set場又係另一門較髙層次技藝…吾係有決心就可以造到


況且代理可用牌子機種…有一定限制，有幾多廠商辨辨精/掂呀

好認同閣下感受，事實好多 HiFi show 同陳例室或店舖一樣咁超大聲，
佢哋心態可能輸人唔輸聲呱。

佢哋以為好勁，我唔好意思話開細聲D。

Bryston 只有我一個人。Mcintosh 3個人。Naim 有人出出入入，有3、4人同一時間在房內。 Classe Audio 最多人，有8個人。一開大聲即刻有2個人出去。我坐得較入，唔好意思即走。留低影返幾張相。

Hi Ed,
I thought this is a very old shop with much experience.
Last time i auditioned the Mag speakers before they moved, no focus for the center singer voice at all.  

I am in Vancouver for good now.  let's listen to Hifi together next time la!

品牌代表來到都攪成咁。上次肥Dan 和 Wilson Audio 高層在同一房間，都攪得唔係幾好聽。

*Sound pressure level
Listening to a large symphonic work and to a folk singer/violin recital should have very different volume setting. Sitting at the centre of the first two rows in a concert hall, the encountered sound pressure level of a large symphonic work may exceed 100db and the microphones that are placed closer for recording such work would pick up even higher pressure level. It would be a joke to play a symphonic work at folk song level and I actually encountered Beethoven 9 being played like this.
For an audio system, the higher the level of sound the more pronounced is the distortion that would be much less conspicuous at low level. Several systems for comparison may sound similar at low level but their faults would be easily revealed when the volume is turned up. The soundtrack is no doubt a contributing factor to the distortion. For example, the Direct Disco album, the first direct to disc by Crystal Clear label. The producer advised listeners to turn the volume way up and compare it with other LPs so as to notice the clean and undistorted sound of his album.
The Reference Recording track, the Testament of Freedom. The chorus towards the end sounds highly distorted and irritating in an ordinary system when played loud, but smooth and easy to the ear in a good system.
For a 200 sq ft listening room, in order to fill up 2/3 of it with soundstage, the volume has to be turned up, though still hard to match the sound level in a live concert with seat in first two rows.
*Sound in HiFi shows
Over the years I have come across numerous systems that sounded impressive in the Hong Kong Show and this means some systems and importers are more devoted than others in the same show. Off hand I am able to cite several though my spelling of the brand and model may be slightly incorrect. The Avant Garde Trio, the MBL 101 Extreme, the Rockport Arraki, the mod system by 摩機鄺 and Tidal speakers, and of course the Goldmund top system that may be played loud with little distortion.
