Yes, I agree, not much differnet , same pcb, same power base architecture. same femto140 clock for both DAC IV+ and V. the only diff is the chassis.
For DSD256 (QuadUSB module) and Network Renderer, they are both can be installed in both DAC IV + and V and both are optional unit. so , I believe there is no much diff between two generations!
the major diff is V generation got no standard version now.

there are more and more dsd128x album has been release and some of them are doing AD again in dsd128x format. the sonic is quite some diff from the 44.1 one.
I bought a few from nativedsd, pretty good in density, not bad.

Let's see whether MSB dare doing a direct comparison of the new V Series against the older IV Plus Series at the CES2015 this week.
Many of the overseas forum members have the same questions. Some of them will visit CES. Hope that they will tell us what they find in the MSB room and give us more info.
