Upsampled FLAC 24/96 vs FLAC 16/44.1

Hi all ching,

I found some album in HiFiTrack which has two captioned format can be download.
Does any ching know what is the difference between these two format and how to define which one will be better?

The upsampled music 24/96 and its original 16/44.1 should not differ too much in the sound quality, the 24/96 may have slightly more ambience, but that may be dependent on the quality of your DAC. Upsampled music means original resolution is still mastered at 16/44.1 then upsampled to 24/96 using software.

If there is no difference in price, then purchase and download the 24/96 version, otherwise, not worth paying extra because you can upsample your music to 24/96 using software by yourself.

I'd rather take the 16/44.1 if the other is only an up-sampled.

I use  Anagram Technologies "ATF2" Upsampling  => Cambridge Audio
